JFX BLOOD DONATION END OF 2017
The Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX) care for others towards the community again in the form of a Blood Donation activity held with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). The event took place at the JFX office on Tuesday 12 December 2017. The event entitled "Blood Donors Care for Others" was opened by JFX Director, Donny Raymond at 11.00 WIB and finished at 14.00 WIB. This year, JFX has held 2 (two) times with PMI (15 August and 12 December 2017). JFX plans to hold this Blood Donation at least 3 (three) times a year.
The JFX-PMI Blood Donation activity was crowded and smooth. There were 158 people who registered to donate. Of these there are 108 people who have managed to become donors. Counted 50 people can not donate blood because of medical considerations such as HB and / or blood pressure that is too low / high, including other medical factors.
Requirements to become a donor are not difficult. Blood donors are people who give blood voluntarily for the purpose of blood transfusion for those who need it. Anyone can become a blood donor if they meet the requirements such as physical and mental health, age 17-60 years, systolic blood pressure (100-170) diastole (70-100), hemoglobin level 12.5g% -17.0g%, with intervals of donor activity a minimum of 12 weeks or 3 months since the previous blood donor (limited to a maximum of 5 times in 2 years).
One of the most well-known PMI activities is blood donor. Donating some of the blood to be distributed to those in need has become a very positive and meaningful contribution in social life.
