Jakarta, 16 December 2024 - Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX) celebrated its historic 24th First Trading Day on Sunday, December 15, 2024. The event, held at the JFX office in Jakarta, was attended by several key figures in the commodity futures trading industry, including the Head of the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Bappebti), Mr. Kasan, the Secretary of Bappebti, Mrs. Olvy Andrianita, the Head of the PBK Development and Training Bureau of Bappebti, Mr. Tirta Karma Senjaya, the Head of the SRG and PLK Development Bureau of Bappebti, Mr. Heryono Hadi Prasetyo, the President Director of PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (KBI), Mr. Budi Susanto, as well as members of the exchange, participants of the Digital Gold Physical Market, participants of the Tin Physical Market, and Margin Deposit Banks.
This celebration marks a significant milestone in the history of JFX as the first and leading Futures Exchange in Indonesia, operating for 24 years. The event featured several activities, including a speech by the Head of Bappebti, a traditional "tumpeng" cutting ceremony, group photos, and a pre-launch of JFX's new website, which is expected to enhance services to stakeholders in the future.
JFX President Director, Mr. Stephanus Paulus Lumintang, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Bappebti as the regulator, PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia, Exchange Members, market participants, and supporting parties, stating, "We are deeply thankful for the ongoing support from Bappebti, KBI, all exchange members, all participants in the physical markets, and related institutions. This event also served as a platform to strengthen the relationship between JFX and its stakeholders, as well as reaffirm the collective commitment to advancing the futures trading industry in Indonesia.
