Jakarta, 5 June 2025 — Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX) proudly welcomed an official delegation visit in collaboration with Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) as part of the Indonesia Critical Minerals Conference and Expo 2025 agenda.
The visit brought together nearly 50 key delegates from various nations, including Mr. Zhou Bo, Executive Vice President of Shanghai Metals Market, and key industry players in the global metals market.
Held at JFX’s Office in The City Tower, Jakarta, the visit featured a series of focused sessions aimed at enhancing collaboration between the Indonesian and international commodities stakeholders. The agenda opened with remarks by JFX Director Suresh Mookiah, followed by an introduction to Jakarta Futures Exchange’s role in Indonesia’s physical tin market.
A key highlight was an exclusive industry briefing on Indonesia’s physical tin trading flow and ecosystem, and highlighting JFX’s role in supporting transparent, efficient, and well-regulated tin exports.
The visit concluded with an interactive discussion and networking session, providing a platform for participants to exchange insights and explore future collaboration opportunities.
