Jakarta, August 29, 2025 – PT Bursa Berjangka Jakarta (“Jakarta Futures Exchange/JFX”) and PT Kliring Berjangka Jakarta (“PT KBI”) held a Seminar on Brent Crude Oil Futures at Hotel Orchardz Industri, Jakarta, as part of their efforts to strengthen literacy in global energy futures trading in Indonesia.
Carrying the theme “Fueling Profits: Mastering Brent Crude Oil Trading,” the seminar featured James Brodie, Head of Learning and Development at ONYX Capital Group, London, as the keynote speaker. Also in attendance representing the regulator was Mr. Tirta Karma Senjaya, Head of Bappebti, along with other echelon II officials from Bappebti. The event was enthusiastically attended by representatives of exchange members, industry players, and the general public interested in understanding the dynamics of the global oil market.
In his opening remarks, President Director of JFX, Mr. Yazid Kanca Surya, stated,
“Through this seminar, JFX aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities and strategies for utilizing Brent Crude Oil Futures products, while also expanding access for domestic market participants to this liquid global instrument.”
President Director of PT KBI, Mr. Budi Susanto, added:
