Tin is one of the economically important and potential minerals in the world because it has very abundant benefits. Tin can be used as an independent metal or as an alloy with other metals, especially copper, such as in alloys, bronze, soft solder, bell metal, babbitt, even in the manufacture of PvC pipes, and so on. Currently, tin is also one of the mainstay mining commodities in Indonesia for export, whose role is quite important and cannot be replaced by the need for the national economy. To support increasing the competitiveness of tin exports and adapting to the stipulation of a new goods classification system and the provisions of laws and regulations regarding mineral mining, the Ministry of Trade issued a Regulation of the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia Number 44/M-DAG/PER/7/2014 which was amended by a Ministerial Regulation. Trade of the Republic of Indonesia Number 53 of 2018 and the Director General of Foreign Trade No. 05/DAGLU/PER/2/2019 which among other things stipulates that tin for export purposes must go through the Exchange. Therefore, the Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX) which always strives to become an exchange that serves market demand, the Jakarta Futures Exchange held a Tin Exchange in order to meet the market's need for regularity in the national tin trade. The Tin product itself consists of 5 types of contracts, namely TLEAD 300, TLEAD 200, TLEAD 100, TLEAD 050 and TPURE099.
